Flashpoint Founders

The partnership between jazz vocalist Janice Borla and drummer Jack Mouse goes back some 35 years.  Renowned jazz improvisers, educators and music curators well established in the international arts community, they have collaborated on a number of projects, performing together, producing one another’s recordings, and steering and implementing North Central College’s Jazz Studies Program. For 26 years they presented the Janice Borla Vocal Jazz Camp and ‘Hot Jazz - 6 Cool Nites’ Concert Series, a unique summer jazz educational program with an international reputation for excellence. Flashpoint Creative Arts represents a new phase of their collaboration.
